Refreshing

I've been looking for something that I will never find simply because it doesn't exist. I was caught up in trying to recapture a passion and desire that I had experienced a few years back and just recently realized that it wasn't about finding the man that could give it to me; rather, it was about having it within myself the same way that I had experienced it. Well, the experience changed me - I am not the same woman I was when it happened. My outlook on life has changed because of it. I learned many things; some ugly and some beautiful. I am not saying that I won't ever experience again the passion and desire. It just won't be the same.

I've been so busy trying to recapture what was and is now gone that I left an important part of myself out of what is today. I know this reads trite like a bad novel, but it's my story.

So, I've grown up another level, and let me tell ya, it's quite refreshing.
