Trickery

Recently, this committee that I sit on at work had an election for new chair, co-chair and treasurer.

The new treasurer is finding out that there are many things unaccounted for in the budget and so when the former chair, co-chair and treasurer were asked about it, it seems all three of these women lost their files.

Wow! Coincidence? I think not, ladies and gentlemen.

The former chair has quit altogether and no longer works for the company, the co-chair resigned from the committee, and the treasurer, whose balls are bigger than I've ever seen on a woman, has stayed on with the committee and is now the co-chair.

I was urged by my friend, who is the new treasurer, to volunteer for the position of co-chair, but I declined feeling wiped out with all the projects that I was just completing and at that time even considering resigning from the committee simply because I did not like the way things were being run. Now I wish I would have volunteered for the position.

As far as doing anything about all of the trickery that has been going on for the past two years, we need proof, all of which went bye-bye with the destroyed files.

Of course, never one to stay silent, I let my feelings be known in our last meeting by voicing them aloud laced with disbelief, disgust and sarcasm; "You mean to tell me that all three of you lost your files?!"

Ya gotta love it.
