Just this Once

Just this once, I wish life would wait up. Granted, I've always felt a little behind, but lately I'm lucky to even catch a glimpse of life's shirttails.

I find myself getting bored easily and my motivation to stay involved in projects and hobbies are nowhere to be found. I don't wanna do anything but sit home and veg.

Nothing interests me.

Am I scared? Hell, you betcha.

It's the first day of autumn. It's 103 degrees.

Hello, Hello!

I know. It's been awhile. BratGammon has taken up a lot of my time. Then there is the lack of motivation thing. Life has been sorta out of control lately.

Last week at work I volunteered to give out leis to employess to promote a kick-off that was being sponsored to encourage employees to donate money to our community.

Asking a man if he wanted a lei was enough for me. I couldn't deal with his snickering as I handed him his purple lei. So, I just stood in the lobby, arms ladden with leis and held out my arms with a grin motioning for employees to take one. The only thing I found myself saying, "They're free!"

Ugh.
