Kernyen-licious on Memorial Day Weekend
It's drawing near to the end of my four-day weekend, one filled with lazy moments and family togetherness.

On Friday, Meerie and I went to Buv's and Jennifer's in Monterey where we just hung out, then on Saturday, we all drove up to San Jose where Buv wanted to take us out to this great Japanese seafood restaurant. It was beyond great :-) From there, Meerie and I headed back home. Sunday, I ran some errands with Kim (finally bought myself some new clothes - just had to do it since I bought myself these cool shoes and sandals from Monterey - heheh).

Also, had to do some serious grocery shopping. I have decided to start packing my lunch to work. Not only is buying lunch EVERY day at the cafeteria fattening, it's put a dent in my budget (about a $200 a month dent!). Sooo, beginning tomorrow, I am going to do my very best to eat sammiches and salads and fruit for lunch packed by yours truly. My friend's friend quit eating the cafeteria food and lost something like 30 pounds! I am thinking, "Dayummmmmmmm!"

Today, Kim is ova and she is barbecuing some steaks, chicken and some sausage with peppers - yum! (notice how I have conveniently forgotten the previous paragraph about the 30 pounds?)...Heheheheh...

We are thinking about going to see the new Keana Reeves [insert heart palpitations here] movie "The Matrix Reloaded." OR, we may just rent some videos. Kim is dying to see that flick "Ghost Ship." She is so into horror. Always was, and even at one point in her youth, fancied herself a vampire.

Yanno, sleeping with garlic around your neck is gross. notthatieverdidthatshit!

Finally, Janice has returned to BratGammon. I am very happy about that since having run it alone has caused me some big time stress. It's all the whining and all the other bullshit that goes on when owning a business.

People love to whine. Okay I admit, we all have whined at one time or another, but the things these folks whine about on our ladder! It's enough to make a person laugh if that person wasn't so fed up. Then ya have some folks that are so paranoid, they freak out when they are asked to please set their gammon board for 3 players instead of 5 because it causes their opponent to lag or boot out of chats. [insert dramatic whispering here] They think in their little paranoid minds that it is a sign of cheating. They can't handle the fact that they have lost simply because these kinds of things HAPPEN!

Whine heads.

Oh dear, do I sound a tad cynical?

Good.

Zank you, zank you, and zank you.
